Our Grandparents honeymooned in Big Bear at the popular Stillwell's Resort in 1929 (on the site of what is now B's Backyard BBQ). Stories of the challenging unpaved switchback mountain road and the rustic cabins without a bathroom are now family legend. Most of the stories however, were the retelling of warm memories of Big Bear's Beauty, Hiking, Singing, Boating, Dancing and all the Fun they had.
Since then, Big Bear has come a long way, with services and accommodations to satisfy the most discerning tastes. With 3 highways leading to our beautiful valley and a private airport, you can arrive fresh and ready to enjoy all Big Bear has to offer.
